Dear Friends,
I am excited to share our new #ChangeTB twitter campaign ahead of tomorrow's launch of the Global Plan to End TB 2016-2020:The Paradigm Shift. For the plan to be successful, we will need committed, ambitious people and finances. But more than anything else we will need to CHANGE the way in which we fight this disease. If we CHANGE, we will succeed.
We are launching this campaign so that everyone can join us. Can you take a minute to help make this campaign a success?
The campaign is simple – we know we need to change the way we think about and act on TB if we are to succeed in ending TB, and change starts with us. So we are asking you to print a #ChangeTB card, take a photo, and tell the world what you plan to do in the fight against TB by sharing it on twitter with the #ChangeTB hashtag.
I am sharing photos with what I am going to do to as well as others, and I hope you will take a minute to do the same.
5 short steps to #ChangeTB
Step 1. Select and print out one of the posters
- Write your own (ensure your pen is thick enough to be seen with a camera)
Or
- Use one of our pre-written examples
Step 2. Hold up the poster and take a selfie.
Step 3. Post on twitter with the link to this page: bit.ly/1MojoPa and the #ChangeTB hashtag.
Step 4. If you don’t have a twitter account, send your name and picture to communications@stoptb.org and we will be happy to tweet on your behalf!
Step 5. Spread the word – send it to a friend, celebrity, or an elected official and challenge them to share what they will do to change TB!
